Clyde is an aging dancer who learns that his younger dance partner and wife is looking to dump him. Who is Ricky? What can Clyde do to hang on to his career and wife?
We learn that Clyde is a little bit two faced in his approach to his career. He was once the younger partner to an older woman who helped to skyrocket his early days in the night clubs. When she got too old, he dumped her for a younger partner. Now the tables are turned on him, and he can’t see through his jealousy.
It becomes a situation of if Clyde can’t have her, then nobody can. A prime situation presents itself to kill his young wife, and set up Ricky for the blame. His alibi is perfect, and even the fake note he writes to put the blame on Ricky seems flawless.
There’s only one thing that stands in his way of getting away with murder. The Whistler knows a secret about Ricky that brings the plan crashing down on top of Clyde.
