Last week we met Jungle Jim, who rescued a missionary. When a crash was heard, the aircraft turned out to hold Flash Gordon and his friends.
After their rescue from the wreckage, the missionary, Reverend Chowmers has agreed to marry Flash and Dale. The missionary offers some brief marriage counseling, but the three space travellers assure him they are certain that they’re ready for marriage. The missionaries will escort Flash and Dale to a steamer that’s leaving for the United States, and they want to have a jungle wedding before the ship sails.
Dale is radiant in her exotic wedding gown covered in orchids. The gents are all decked out and places are taken. With Jungle Jim as best man, and Doc Zarkoff giving the bride away, the ceremony begins. Jim’s sidekick, Kolo, speaks the words of his native tribe as the wedding vows with Jim translating. The knot is tied with the more traditional vows as the missionary reads the wedding ceremony. Good wishes and congradulations all around.
There’s a ship to catch, and Jungle Jim is left with his man Kolo to wonder what their next adventure will be.
