Last week Gracie was bent on having George win the leading role in a new film to go into production about radio. She’s sure he has it all over the competition, but George remains unconvinced of his chances for the role. What extent will she go to pull strings to get George the part? What does he have in common with Clark Gable? Bill Goodwin and a few of the neighbors, act the part to keep on convincing George that he looks like Clark. Will George finally begin to have his ego stroked enough to think he can win the part in the film?
Honorary member of the ladies uplift society, Meredeth Willson, does his part to butter George up, but it’s now clear to George that he has been set up by Gracie and her club. Will Gracie actually have a scheme to bend George to her will that fails? Will the ladies be forced to torture the betrayer in their midst?
Gracie is on the outs with the ladies in her club, especially after their hard work in sweet talking George. What will George do about that? Will he go out to protect his downtrodden damsel?
