Max, a reporter runs into an old friend, Temple Hunter. In Paris, everyone is selling out their homes, and moving. We learn how the Nazi’s marched in, and some of the hardships that Temple and his wife Margret went through. But it’s more than just the wartime oppression. Temple goes into flashback to tell about the wierd things happening in his new house. Spooky happenings, and crimson stains cause Margie to want to abandon the new place.
A floating red hand is seen, and Temple flees with Margret. Will Max believe their story?
What other strange things will be learned about the house, and its former occupants? Being a curious reporter, Max convinces Temple and Margret to return to the large, old house to stay the night. Hiding places, secret panels, and strange sounds that emerge from the cellar draw the men towrds the source. What will be found? How did the body get there? Max seems to know the back story to explain the creepy mystery.
