In confused excitement, Sade and Rush share the latest juicy gossip that’s flying through the grape vine. Mrs Harris and Dwight 26ler are going to get married? If you’re confused at how Mrs Harris is eligible to be married to Dwight, Sade explains that she’s a widow, and he’s a widower. Vic enters with the news of the engagement on his lips, and causing his attitude to soar with ridiculous exaggerations.
It seems that Uncle Fletcher is the one who introduced them, and Sade expects he’ll be bursting at the seams to share in the jubilant news. Instead, Fletcher is a little put off by all the excitement.
Mrs Harris and Dwight enter, but something strange happens. The man who always talks with a mouthful of shingle nails suddenly takes them out so he can officially propose. How sweet! It gets even wierder, or cuter depending on how you look at it, when Mrs Harris joins Dwight in mumbling their love to each other through mouths full of shingle nails.
