My Little Margie – 100 Shares Of Stock 1954

While Vern Albright handles business in the office, he’s content to let his daughter Margie run the household. Though he does have certain expectations for how the checkbook and expenses are handled. As we look in at the penthouse apaartment, we find Freddie going over the checkbook and expenses with Margie, and things don’t look good. What will Vern have to say about Margie’s crazy accounting methods?

In the office, we see Vern in action as a big stock broker and financierer. An important account hinges on some stock he bought for Margie’s graduation. Unknown to Margie, the business rival finds her, and tries to get her to sell it to him. Will she be swooned into selling out her shares to the wrong man?

Margie discovers the secret, and not wanting to be used or taken advantage of, she torments her dad. Will she let him vote on her behalf? Word comes in that all votes are in but hers, and now Margie holds maximum sway over the vote, and Vern’s nerves. How will it go? Can Freddie help Vern succeed in getting Margie’s cooperation?
