Mr Davidson has always been a peculiar man, and after his wife died, he abandoned his house to live at the club. A lawyer friend, Mr Lamar, and another friend, Mr Benson visit the locked up house in search of Davidson. Has he harmed himself? Where has he mysteriously disappeared to? Strange groanings emerge from the dusty, cold house. Objects seem to move all on their own. Davidson is on hand to tell his spookhy tale.
It has been a year since the mysterious disappearance of Davidson, and the two friends are certain that he’s now dead. It’s time to read the will that leaves the house and estate to his young niece and her husband. Loretta and Dan explore papers in an old desk, but it’s only the beginnings of ghostly happenings.
Is the house haunted by Mr Davidson? What is he trying to make known to the people in his house? Midnight brings a horrible purple glow that brings pain and suffering. Will Loretta and Dan be doomed to the same fate if they won’t leave?
Maybe the young couple won’t have a choice. The strange ending to the purple shadows comes only after a final tragedy.
