Flywheel deals with a wrong number, then talks to Miss Dimple about some missing money. With a few adlibs along the way, he accuses Revelli about taking the missing dime.
Revelli brings in a client, John Smith, who wants to revise his will. When it turns out the man is rich, Flywheel sees dollar signs. With a name like John Smith, Flywheel offers a lot of Pocohontas jokes amid his double talk. He and Revelli try to rewrite the man’s will to get as much of his estate as possible. They are to meet at the man’s house to go over details. Not to mention in jumping the gun on claiming possession of the house.
Revelli sings, You Can’t Stop Me From Loving You. After giving the lady of the house grief, and embarrassment, can it be that Flywheel and Revelli went to the wrong house? Flywheel tries to track down John Smith to set things right. Well, in claiming the inheritance, but Smith returns with some news of his own, and Flywheel’s dreams are shattered when he learns the man’s real address.
