Audio is staticky. In the small house halfway up the next block, we find Vic as he returns home from his lodge meeting, and Sade has thrilling news about her visitor who came calling. Edith is barely remembered by Vic, but Sade claims she remembered Vic vividly.
Sade recounts every little detail in giggley, giddy fashion, from Rush opening the door to the barely remembered conversation. She has to keep prompting Rush to be reminded of who said what. The more she tries to recount what her guests looked like, or what they said, it becomes more clear that she would be lost in the whirlwind moment, if not for the details Rush offers.
