The mastermind has Tom, Pecos, and the cops over a barrel. Will they be forced to comply to his wishes? The note itself seems to hold the key, sending Tom on a race to learn who bought it and would have owned this type of stationary recently.
Elsewhere we join the Mastermind in his lair. Why does he want a flower, is it more than just a signal? Has Tom sent him the wrong flower? The master mind sees through Tom’s bluffs and attempts at trickery as the deadline ticks closer, but we’re assured by the announcer that Tom will close is net around the criminal to capture him.
