Tom has been investigating a string of thefts. Radium has been stolen by a burglar known as the Black Cat, a robber who leaves a black cat in the place of the missing goods as his calling card. The robber has been spotted at the crime scene, and takes on the appearance of a large black cat. A trap has been set, and it’s close to midnight. Tom, his side kicks Pecos, and Wrangler help in keeping n eye on the 21 story building where the radium is kept. The police have an all points bulletin ut for the Black cat as well, but will it be enough to close in and capture the sneaky burglar?
The time arrives, and the scene cuts to the fleeing criminal, and we learn some of his desperate maneuvers, and the measures he takes to keep from being taken into custody. The Black Cat is trapped, and Tom closes in at the high rise building. Despite the efforts, the Black Cat manages to jump from the 21st floor, and still get away. How did he survive the fall?
