In today’s continuing saga of that upscale family, Vern Albright is secure in his 5th Avenue penthouse apartment, except that he wants his daughter Margie to marry into royalty. Will she be faithful to her regular boyfriend, or be won over by the Count. Verna Felton is the family friend and busy body, Mrs Odett who pops in to joke about old family relatives.
When a geneologist proves Margie has a royal ancestor, dad is excited, but the nobility is only on Margie’s mothers side. Jokes turn toward clashes between commoners and nobility. Soon Grand Dukes of forgotten countries come a courting, and Princess Margie may find herself as the rightful ruler of a band of loyal subjects.
There’s more hassles to being the rightful monarch of a country than meets the eye. A mysterious character hints that assassination plans could be afoot. Will Margie be safe? Who can she trust? Secrets turn the situation around, and a return to normal life is a welcomed return.
