In this one shot episode, since I don’t have the ones that preceed, or follow it, we find Tom Mix hot on the trail of sabateurs. Though he’s on horseback, he finds a way to chase the badguys who fly in an airplane through the dark of night. The powder plant is in danger of being blown sky high, and it’s only hope is to be warned by Tom to black out the lighths. What are his chances of riding his horse faster than the bi-plane can fly above?
Can the plant be warned before danger arrives in the form of a bi-plane dive bomb attack?
The plant seems to be safe, but where did the bad guys go? Can Tom manage to catch up with them, even if he could make it to the airbase where a waiting military plane is made ready for him? We can only guess.
Note: Tom Mix was a real cowboy, and a marketing genius. Firmly targetting the pre-teenage set, he made himself a larger than life hero, complete with films, comic books, and all sorts of toys and gadgets that the little tykes love. His adventurous escapades stepped out of the wild west, and into all the modern technologies of the days to fight against bad guys, and preserve justice for the little guy.
