Without a place to show the play, Gracie wants to offer George the leading man role, if they can do the play on the radio show. Can she flatter George enough to go for the idea. George is upset to be in the presence of the ladies, but will they convince him to put his acting skills to work for them? He might even get a chance to sing. Meredeth Willson and his orchestra play a smooth dance version of, Meet Me in St Louis.
Gracie has tricked George into taking a lesser part, so her club can get Charles boyer for the lead instead. Thinking their half hour show might be too short for the play, Gracie sets out to sweet talk Dinah Shore into giving up her show, so the ladies can have more time. The studio manager, Sydney Strotz, won’t go for it.

Note: The one hour play was to go on for real the following week, but I don’t have a recording of it. If someone knows where to find it, be sure to let me know.
