Bud and Lou spend time talking about girls, then Bud wants to improve Lou’s image by getting him a public relations manager. A string of characters come in to drive home the point that Lou’s reputation needs some fixing up, to include Verna Felton, and a fast talking motivational speaker.
Bud tries to explain to Lou what a linguist does. In soft and quiet tones, Bud and Lou seek help. They end up doing a play titled: The New Bedouin, or It’s Time to Change the Sheets.
They walk the sands of the desert. They need to rescue the princess from the sultan. The sultan rides up, which is all designed just to tell as many middle eastern and desert related jokes as they can squeeze in until the show finishes.
PS: The program seems short, because it is. Lots of music and commercial time is snipped out.
