Abner is having second thoughts as the meeting with the contractor draws near. Should they entrust the entire amount of money over the the builder? Lum tries to impress the venerable old friend and school chum of Squire Skimp. As the business meeting begins, certain behavior from Mr Dobbs ought to alert Lum that this deal may be a little shady.
To impress Mr Dobbs, Lum smokes cigars, and forces Abner and Mousey to do the same. How will Lum do at big time wheeling and ealing in the smoke filled room? A mistake by the queasy Abner might have saved the day for them, stay tuned to see what happens next.
