Despite the Wintery weather Matt has to leave his warm jail to chase after a cattle rustler. The crook had been held so he could stand trial, and Matt is determined to see that justice is served.
Howling winds blow as Matt searches the line cabins all through the night. The search pays off, but will Matt sit out the nasty weather, or face taking his prisoner back to Dodge City in the blizzard?
Chester would rather sit tight and stay warm. The prisoner may not like the cold, but will he risk his life to cause trouble for Matt? Matt’s dedication and loyalty to the law won’t do anything less than protect the wellfare of his prisoner as he brings him in to face trial. After all the heroic efforts, how will the trial pan out? Lessons are learned, and good impressions are made.
