It’s morning in the Cugat home, and Liz is sneaking around. She’s worried her bank account is overdrawn, but she can’t hide it from her banker husband.
To get her books back in the black, Liz if forced to return her dress to the store. When there’s a mistake in making Liz’s refund, she gets an idea on how she can make it work for her. She ends up selling dresses at a cut rate price right in the department store.
Feeling bad about making Liz return the dress George goes to the store to buy back the dress he made Liz return earlier. Liz tries to disguise herself so George won’t recognize her. He doesn’t… does he?
Trivia Alert: The fake Brooklyn accent Liz uses to disguise herself from George, probably isn’t so fake. Lucille Ball was from Brooklyn, and to make it in movies, she had to lose her accent to become successful.
