Episode 017. A youth accompanies spider like Martians in their last trek from Earth imposed reservations to their mountain homes.
The futuristic story of a lost cause. In the far flung future year of 1997, our story tells of aMartian death march, led by an Earth man.
Thirty years earlier, before there were roads in these parts, a boy spots a couple of figures wandering through, but can he, or his dad do anything about it? Martians have been kept on reservations for years, but a religious faction is suggesting that Martians should be on equal footing with people. A concept that’s repulsive to dad, and he tries to instill it into his son.
It becomes clear that the settlers are on Mars, and have strong racist feelings, as they treat the Martians like the indians of the American plains. The boy comes to grips with the racism of his dad, as he talks with these strangers about the reservations, and Martian life before the humans arrived.
Then it happens, the Martians revolt, and run rampant. The settlers need to fend off the Martian hordes. Are the Martians as ruthless as dad has claimed? The boy joins the Martians on their march as they seek their freedom, and old ways.
