Far from civilization, in a jungle in Mexico, our heros are stranded as they wait for the weather to change. Captain Midnight explains in detail the dangers they face with trees that may block their takeoff, and their heavier load they have with their new passengers. Besides the need to get Major Steel and Bud to medical attention, the need to chase after Ivan Shark is growing again.
Also it’s suggested that as good a pilot as Chuck is proving to be, he will still benefit from going to flying school. There are even plans to include Patsy and Senor Perada in the future venture between the pilots. Coming back to their present dangers, a new curiosity is discovered. What new twist will it bring?
PS: On a side note, Chuck and Captain Midnight share a word on the delicate line between showing respect with a father and having fun with him. What kind of advice might Captain Midnight offer? It boils down to having character,, impecability, and reliability. (Whatever all that means.) I think what he means is that dad’s need to cast off that level of respect and proper behavior expected from a kid, and be a buddy for a while. In other words, there’s a time and place to act goofy, and a time and place to be serious.
