The landlord has given notice that he’s giving the Gook home to his son as an anniversary gift. Sade explains to Vic and Rush that nothing will really change. They can continue living there, since the son isn’t a very compitant guy, the deed won’t even change hands. They’ll keep on paying rent to Mr Erikson. It’s a wierd arrangement that could only happen in Vic and Sade’s crazy world.
To make a proper gift of it, the landlord wants Sade to run a ribbon around the place to make the place look like a present. Rush gets in a story about a violin teacher who gives lessons without a violin. There seems to be a theme happening with that. In another episode Vic would be a coronet player who can’t play, Fletcher would be a piano player who only knows one song, and another time when Vic is convinced to be a special mudsician who plays a Caribbean Dream Flute. Whatever that is, I’m sure he can’t play it.
