Poetic notes to Harriot are discovered by Mr Boynton, and the teacher talks to Walter about his own romantic side. Elsewhere, Mr Conklin talks with Miss Brooks about keeping Walter and Harriot apart, and stopping any chance of romance to bloom.
As events unfold, romantic poetry gets mixed, and given to the wrong person. Connie thinks she just got a love note from her bashful biologist, and favorite science teacher Mr Boynton. Stretch Snodgrass has his ownproblem, he has fallen in love with Harriot, but feels guilty over it since she’s the girlfriend of his best friend.
The situation is ripe for more mix ups, misdirected romance, and cmic situations that may not be fully untangled. It’s not so much a love triangle, as it is a love daisy chain. Walter and Harriot are clueless to Stretch’s intentions. Boynton is clueless to Connie’s affections. And when the poetry mix ups reach Mr Conklin, he thinks Connie has a thing for him. Will the truth ever come out?
