Audio quality is weak, and starts with the show already in progress.
Jack is talking about riding horses with his cast, Frank Parker, and Frank Black. Jack’s stingy side comes out. Frank Black begins to play, but it gets snipped. Mary enters after being on vacation for a few weeks. She tells about her trip to Florida. Though it can be hard to hear, it’s worth listening to her jokes about her trip. Frank Parker is supposed to sing, but it gets clipped out. Jack reads a fan letter, and tells of the great courage it takes to be the Master of Ceremonies on the show. Another song is clipped.
Jack has had his courage challenged, and he now shows up in a graveyard to prove his bravery. Frank Parker has challenged Jack to a duel. Mary offers her strategy for winning the match. What kind of target shooter is Jack? He takes a few practice shots to show off. How will this duel end? Who will win? Will they actually go through with it?
Though the audio leaves some to be desired, the graveyard scene has some classic gags. Maybe old by today’s standards, but new for the time. Hey, at least now you’ll know where they came from.
