A retelling of an earlier story ark involving Dr Roberling, and his voice machine, but condensed for a half hour format.
Is there a way to bring people back from the dead? A train speeds towards Metropolis with Clark and Lois on board. They meet Dr Roberling, a man who is said to have created a voice machine, but the old gent denies it. Lois is too skeptical to believe such a machine exists, but Clark thinks otherwise. Can his scientific explanation convince Lois? Can he get Dr Roberling to admit the truth about his invention.
When the doc is missing, it’s time for Superman to spring into action. Meager clues are turned up, but everybody arrives safely in Metropolis. Clark and Lois begin investigating the man who is claiming to be Roberling’s nephew. What danger is the doc in?
Clark and Lois set a trap to catch the nephew, and to learn the secret of the mysterious machine. Roberling would rather take his secrets to the grave than to have them fall into the hands of his threatening nephew. It won’t come to that will it? And just what is this machine, and how can it bring people back from the grave?
