The Halloween season has Ethylbert, Ann, and Casey talking about spooks and ghosts. Casey tells a story about his old fiddle playing grandpa. In a flashback sequence to old Ireland, the tale is dramatized by putting the cast in the roles of Patrick Casey, and his pursuit of Mollie McBride.
There’s a matter of missing money, and rent that is coming due. Did someone take it? In alternating scenes between the Blue Note, and the 100 year old incident, Casey lays out the details of the age old mystery. Did old Pat Casey ever pay his rent? Has the money ever turned up? Will Pat and Mollie get married as planned? With a little ghostly, supernatural help, Pat has proof he paid his rent. But wait, he manages to swing a sweeter deal than just paying rent.
