George talks to Bill Goodwin about his old friend, Al Jolson. Jokes include aging, appearing on other people’s shows, and money. Going home from the Brown Derby, George goes home to learn about Gracie’s day. Gracie leaves the tired out George to see what makes Jolson so energetic. Gracie gets the low down on health and conditioning from Al. Jolson sings, Toot Toot Tootsie Goodbye.
Al is fed up with Gracie, and goes to George and agrees to be on his show if he will keep Gracie under control. Still, Gracie is determined to have a healthier George, and the jokes on fitness keep coming. Will George get the chance to sing on his show with Jolson? Jolson sings, Yessir That’s My Baby. George has his song interupted when Al sings, Pretty Baby. And so it goes until Gracie puts a stop to the madness.
