As the landslide from the side of the mountain threatens Jimmy, Clark, and Comanche Joe they run their horses to a narrow escape. The trail is wiped out, but they need to do something quick. The avalanche threatens a second fall.
Clark sneaks a change to Superman. He takes the unconscious bodies of his friends to safety, and sets the stage to tell his explanation of what happened. Commanche Joe suspects something funny, but can’t figure it out.
The tribe meets them with happy shouts. Clark and Jimmy are glad to meet a group who have a mixture of old indian ways and modern ways, including making great fudge. As they recount their adventure, danger lurks when a couple of cowboys plan to set themselves up as snpers.
