This is the audition for the show, after Lum and Abner had gone Hollywood, and been off the air for a year. The audio quality is the best yet. As Lum and Abner reopen their store and blow the dust off of things, Lum tries to tell Abner about Robinson Cruso. Abner can’t grasp the idea of Robinson’s sidekick being named Friday. But wait, there’s more to get confused over. In the end the guys decide to stay in the store business, and quit telling stories.
