Steamboats crawled the rivers across the country, anywhere there was enough water to float them. It was while riding on one of these steam boats that Wild Bill and Jingles encountered some ruthless killers. It doesn’t take long before gunshots ring out after threats of robbery of a gold shipment.
With a couple of well placed rifle shots, Wild Bill puts a stop to the escaping bandits. Indian smoke signals come over the horizon, but how does it tie into the bandits? It’s time for Bill and Jingles to
saddle up their horses that they had on the riverboat.
Our heros ride across the prairie to find out more details. Just when it looks like progress is being made, there’s more gunshots.
Bill gets the drop on the bandits sending the messages, and reads the answering smoke signal. What did it say? What’s the next step? With the small fries all caught, Bill lays a trap to spring on the big fish behind the crime.
