Lois is frightened by little men who sit on her window sill and laugh at her. She phones Clark Kent. Her story is so far fetched that he has trouble believing her. In the office of the Daily Planet, both the copy boy, Beenie and Perry White tell about their wierd encounter with three little old men. What next? Flying men in blue and red suits? Oh, sorry. Back to the story.
Clark is the voice of reason, and tries to get to the bottom of the matter. Even the police commissioner has had a sighting of the little men, what does it all mean? Is there a case of mass hysteria?
Everybody seems to be seeing the little men except for Clark. When an old friend, Candy, phones in to talk to Clark, the news reporter thinks he finally may have a clue about the little men sightings. Even Candy has a story to tell about seeing the little dudes. What does Clark have in mind? All the parties are called together for a final showdown with the little laughing men.
It’s a mystery that Superman easily unravels, butg how will his presence be explained to his friends?
