Retelling a story from early in the Superman saga, the Happyland Amusement Park took six episodes to tell it the first time around. This episode compacts it into a half hour show. To move things along at the faster pace, a few points in the story have been slightly altered.
When a young woman inherits her fathers nearly complete amusement park, a rival named Midway Martin wants her to sell out to him. Sabotage reigns as the opening day parade has horses that bolt and run away with Lois and the girl on them. Later Superman is to lend a hand by making an appearance on the roller coaster. The roller coaster is also sabotaged, but by this time it’s just a matter of Clark proving that Martin, and his henchman kelley are responsible. Can he force them to confess?
PS: Keeping in mind these shows from this time frame are geared towards adults, the changes in the story make it more compact, and get to the point. I also like the ending to this one better than the earlier stories.
