when Irma has been doing some household chores, she has managed to cut the phone line. Later, a noise in the house turns out to be a burglar. With no telephone, Jane runs out to fetch the police while Irma detains the robber with her pistol shaped lighter. He’ll never know it’s not a real gun.
The thief gets away, and the commotion brings Mrs O’riley and professor Kropotkin to swap jokes about their nighttime dressing habits.
The next morning, Jane has some serious news. She’s planning to move out. Irma’s antics have finally pushed her to her limit, especially when the burglar got away with her broach that was a special gift from Richard. At the office, Irma is even more disfunctional on the job than usual. Poor Mr Clyde. Through a strange twist,Irma and Al cross paths with the burglar to save the day.
But is Jane still considering moving out? She has been having second thoughts and feelings of guilt over moving out. A happy ending? Of course, but There’s still time for a few last minute mixups.
