On the storm swept China Sea, the Spindrift sails bravely on towards the Sulu Sea where their treasure of uranium lies. The crew all do their parts in battling the stormy sea as they avoid their nemesis ship, the Black Shark. Still, the Spindrift runs perilously cloce to the shallows, and hidden reefs. The barometer doesn’t offer any good news related to the raging typhoon as it approaches. Their native crewman, Manuel thinks it best to return to the safe port of Manilla, but Uncle Jim is confident the storm will track in a favorable way, and they can make progress towards the Sulu Sea,
Those waves aren’t getting any smaller, and the Black Shark is closing in. Options are limited, and no matter what they choose, danger is sure to be in store. Uncle Jim thinks the typhoon may be a blessing in disguise. Let’s just hope he’s right.
