The opening scenes represent a set of ironic twists. Two lovers on a dark roadside, approached by a cop who is intent on breaking up the public love making session. Only it isn’t a cop, and the lovers aren’t what they seem. It’s all a set up to catch the Lovers Lane Killer. The suspect has gotten away, but ends up killed by the real Lovers Lane killer. weird.
The sting operation continues, but the action moves to police headquarters where we find Ann williams and Casey talking to the cops. A possibility that the killer could be a woman is batted around. word comes in that the killer has been pinned down, but it turns out to be another false lead. what’s a crime photographer to do? Take a few minutes to cool down, and think things through at the Blue Note with Ethylbert.
Inspired with a new take on things, Casey and Ann head back out to lovers lane and confront the killer. Get ready for a surprise solution to the mystery as Casey outsmarts a madman.
