Grandpa Amos is all set on having his favorite dinner with a lady friend. He bypasses spending the evening with his family, but once he gets to dinner, his favorite gal has made something different. Arguments ensue, and damage is done to her apple tree and a dividing wall.
The rift can be satisfied at the mere expense of an apology. The trouble is that Amos thinks that she should apologize to him for the damage he did to her property. He learns the hard way about how unhappy she is when he gets a law suit to repair the damages.
