Chester is making some improvements in the jailhouse, when Matt is rescued by the entrance of Amy. The elderly woman claims to need Matt’s elp, but her request is the last thing Matt suspected.
The prairie affects people in different ways, some thrive, and others are hit hard by it. Amy’s request is for Matt to kill her. He refuses, but what lengths will the old gal go to to force his hand? Matt suspects she has some kind of grudge against him, but can’t figure what he might have done to cross her path. Matt wouldn’t gun down a little old lady would he? Even if she draws a gun on him?
Matt and Doc develop a plan to appease Amy, and for a few weeks things go smooth. Has Amy given up on her grudge against Matt? Old rivalries from Matt’s past come back to haunt him, and Amy isn’t the only one who may be gunning for Matt.
