At the Milford home, Mr s Milford offers some advice for Gildy. Will it win him any advantage? Another hot tip sends Gildy to meet with Catherine Milford, but Doc Olsen beats him at every turn.
The dating contest moves to the carnival, where there’s plenty of chances to rise to a challenge. Will Gildy be able to win nurse Milford away from her doting doctor?
With all his friends enjoying the carnival, he’ll either have a public victory, or a public humiliation as Gildersleeve plays all the carnival games. At any rate, Gildy makes an impression with a little lost boy named Billy.
