Out on the trail, Jingles is attacked by a wild, vicious… puppy? No time to do more than fix a paw with a cactus needle when an indian attack calls for some assistance from our heros. They find an old friend, Kate who tells about the attack.
After hearing the story from Kate, Bill smells a rat about that indian attack. Conflicting evidence seems to prove him out as he and Jingles gather clues. If not indians, then who? What do they want in Kate’s freight wagon.
Bill has a plan, and a trap to catch the reall killers and thieves.
