On their way walking home, Vic and Rush discuss birthday gifts. When they get home, they learn that Mr Sludge is sleeping in the front room, and they promise Sade that they’ll be quiet as they retrieve items they need from the room.
Vic and Rush conduct a little conspiracy. Rush tries an experiment in osmosis by trying to plant ideas into Mr Sludge. There’s just something fascinating about a sleeping individual. The temptation is too much and though pushed into it by Vic, it doesn’t take much to get Rush to draw a moustache on their sleeping guest.
What will happen once Sade finds out? The rats jump ship, and Rush is abandoned to face the wrath of Sade on his own.
PS: I love Sades final statement in the episode. Typical, timeless, and it still applies today, and through the ages.
