A typical evening in the Long Branch leads to gunplay when a young man defends Miss Kitty from the harrassment of a would be attacker. The young gun is looking for a job, and Matt sends him to check out the stage coach. But has he just sent an outlaw to protect the stage coach runs?
Trouble arises quickly when Andy rides shotgun on the stage, and does nothing when it’s robbed. Matt’s image of Andy is that he is anything but an outlaw as he tries to get work all over town. Andy’s employment situation eventually leads him to discouragement. Then one night a fight breaks out. A truth is revealed to Matt, and he has to make a choice.
Days go by, and word of Andy comes to Matt. Is it good news, or bad? Matt is concerned as he approaches Andy with what he knows. Matt thinks Andy deserves a chance to prove himself, and encourages Andy to do the right thing.
Will Andy take advantage of his chance to leave his past behind, and stay on the side of the law? The stage coach is late, but will it arrive with it’s shipment of gold intact? Listen in for the dramatic conclusion to learn for yourself.
