I could have sworn I already posted this episode. There’s a similar one where Vic wants to buy a hat, but Sade wants to go with him to make sure he gets one she likes. Today though Sade has a problem on her hands. It seems that Vic and Rush have a conspiracy between them.
Rush has come home with a story that Fleebergers has presented Vic with a free complimentary hat. Playing detective, the disbelieving Sade grills them on their story. Could it be that Vic prepaid his bill, and included the price of a wide brimmed hat? What does Sade have against wide brimmed hats anyway?
Under Sade’s scrutinizing eye, she determines that Rush is innocent of the scheme, but Vic plays his hand at taking offense, then defends the fashion choice. Sade still thinks the hat makes him look like a peeled onion, or a wild west cowboy. What will detective Sade do once she drills down to the bottom of the case? Will Vic get to keep his prized hat? Don’t mess with Sade, or try to fool her over a matter of spending money on frills.
