It’s lunchtime in the small house halfway up the next block, and Sade is slow cooking beef knuckles. Though the menfolk come home, the food’s not quite done. Normally a matter for concern for Vic. Instead, his high spirits plummet, but not over lunch. He was excited to have his picture in the lodge newsletter. Vic is not happy at all when not only did his picture not appear, but the biographical sketch that was to accompany it has only a measley statement. And even that is as wrong as it could get.
Rush sees the humor in the utter mix up, Sade tries her best to comfort her man even though she usually hates things concerned with the lodge. To make his agony worse, Vic gets phone calls from lodge members to poke fun at the mixup, to Vic’s total disgrace and embarrassment.
PS: From their description of the photo and caption, it really is funny. Maybe one day Vic will be able to look back and laugh. Maybe.
