Vic has work that needs his attention at home. Sade is prepared to leave him be, then Rush enters with jubilation at the last day of school. The interuptions avalanche when Annabelle phones to talk with Rush over the joy of Summer vacation.
For Vic’s sake, Sade and Rush try to head outside, the phone won’t stop ringing with more of Rushes friends calling to congradulate him on the completion of another year of school. Why doesn’t anybody think of just taking the phone off the hook? With all the phone calls you would think the kids weren’t seeing each other all Summer long.
It’s just some wierd tradition from days gone by, according to Rush. I’m not sure if that’s true, but that slogan he quotes about the last day of school sure is.
