Now let’s see what’s happening in Pine Ridge. Recently, the rolling store has been completed in the blacksmith shop, but when it is found to be too big to leave, Abner manages to get it out by accident.
Today Lum and Dick talk about the store’s appearance, and some practical ideas in operating the store. Is it going to be too big to hit the road? Will it be too small to hold all their merchandise?
Dick even offers the use of some of his store for storage. Abner and Cedric work together to load up the new
store. Lum makes an announcement on the partyline to say the rolling store will hit the streets, and remind folks that the store still needs a name. Abner takes over to put in his two cents worth about the rolling store. He describes the store, and that it looks just like the Jottem Down Store, only smaller.
Cedric has the store so full, and the body is so long that the front wheels have risen off the ground. Time to unpack and do some more planning. No commercial.
