Now let’s see what’s happening down in Pine Ridge. The matrimonial bureau has had plenty of responce from women, and in recieving their photos. With the shortage of responce from men, Abner asks grandpap for photos from his new photography business.
Grandpap is a little reluctant to go along, but a sale is a sale. Trouble is that the pictures grandpap has are only married men in town. Abner and grandpap share a good laugh when they see the homely images of the pictures sent in from the single men. Good stuff to send out for a comic valentine. Especially one who is particulary homely and goofy looking.
Lum arrives and identifies that goofy guy as Abner. Amazing how Abner changes his tune about his attitude over that picture. Abner’s bragging about getting the mail handled in a quick way is stopped with an angry phone call from Dick Huddleston.
