Principle, Mr Conklin has called a meeting to discuss the problem of excessive noise in the hallowed halls of Madison High. What is the source of Conklin’s irritations? It’s only two simple sources: the student body, and the faculty. What kind of solution might work to resolve the trouble of excess noise?
The word comes down from on high, and Conklin rules that the boys are to be kept seperate from the girls to stop the excess chatter. This means the faculty too.
With the ban on fraternizing, Walter arranges to meet covertly with Miss Brooks to show off his safe room. It doesn’t take long for the safe room to be raided though. However, Connie learns of some inside scoop that could lead to an end to the ban.
Before Connie calls out the big guns, Mrs Conklin, Connie and Boynton manage a few close moments in the cafeteria. What can Mrs Conklin do to put her hubby in his place? Just administer a little dose of practicing what you preach, that’s all.
