Jack is tired of the same old thing week aftre week. Don suggests a fewe cures for the run down feeling. Mary talks about her health, and seeing her doctor. She’s 2worried over Jack working too hard. Even Kenny seems run down after his big date with a millionaires daughter. Johnny Green talks about some of his recent appearances.
Johnny starts to play, but it’s snipped. Jack’s film, The Big Broadcast of 1937 gets a plug. The record gets skippy through these parts.
Jack givs Kenny some acting lessons, then Kenny sings. His song is almost all there, between skips, then the end chops off to land at the start of the play.
Jack goes to the movie studio and wants to see the movie producer. He tries to get the cast some parts in the movies as he checks on his own film. The audio is suddenly cut short.
Note: A fairly short episode, but what can you expect from a recording that’s 75 years old? I’ll be you’d be snippy too if you were 75 and people wanted you to perform on demand. It’s some classic Jack Benny humor, and still worth giving a listen.
