Vic and Sade – Vics Geographical Trip. 1939.
As Rush and Sade sit on the front porch swing on this hot day, Vic is in high spirits as he comes home. What is Vic so pleased about? The newspaper is to print a story about Vic and his recent business trip.
He recounts how the newspaper reporter phoned him about his business trip last week. Vic was inspired as he had a six page report of the trip typed up and sent to the newspaper office, and he shares a few samples of his flowery speech with his family.
During the discussion of the geography of the midwestern states, the audio fades in and out. Rush goes to answer the phone with a message from the reporter. The message is quite deflating to Vic’s ego. It seems that his detailed report of the geography, and demographics of the varius states that he travelled through isn’t quite what the reporter had in mind.
