Lum and Abner – Argument Over How To Run The Picture Show. 350710. Horlicks: Take along a flask of Horlicks tablets to fend off those appetite cravings.
Down in Pine Ridge Squire has been eliminated as a competitor, and their legal troubles are resolved. Now Lum and Abner can focus on their movie theater business.
Dick Huttleston talks with Lum and Abner about avoiding any future dealings with Squire. They talk about the crowds that the movies are drawing in. Lum explains a new game to play in the theater, something similar to bingo, but different. Abner is confused over it, but Dick likes the idea.
When Lum and Abner argue over the game, Dick makes an excuse to leave, and let them hash it out. Abner wants out of the movie business, so Lum offers to trade his half interest in the Jottem Down store, and give it to Abner for full ownership of the theater. Lum writes up, and reads the contract to document their agreement. Signatures are signed, and the deal is done.
