Chester seems a little anxious as he walks the sidewalk, looking for Miss Kitty. He tells Matt that he thinks she’s missing. Chester has a hot date and Kitty was to patch up his only good pair of pants.

The trail leads to a dude who is new in town. Matt compares notes later with Doc and Chester, but still there’s no luck. Chester and doc begin to share dark ideas and worry that the worst might have happened. Has this new guy done something to harm Kitty?
Matt still has a lead to go on, and checks out the stables. It looks like Matt’s quest is warming up. He tracks a buggy to a remote part of the prairie where he finds Kitty alone.
Kitty seems to be fine as she has been making a fire with smoke signals. She’s a little hungry, has a hurt ankle, but otherwise OK. What’s her story?
When Kitty thinks Matt isn’t interested in her, he tells her what he figured happened on her adventure. His recounting of events is his way of proving that he notices more about her than she suspects. The real cause for the trouble is in Kitty not keeping her temper.Hmm… right or wrong? Isn’t there a saying about the fury of a woman scorned?
The whole gang, including the jilted suitor all head back into Dodge.
